Joanne joined Compliance and Risks in 2011 as a senior lawyer where she recognized the need for clear, accessible environmental, social and governance guidance for businesses of all sizes. Since then she has supported Compliance & Risks’ clients with their global legal compliance challenges with a particular focus on Sustainability, ESG, Climate Change, Forced Labor and Human Rights.

A qualified lawyer in Ireland since 2003, Joanne has been a pivotal force in ensuring that our customers remain compliant with emerging ESG requirements while empowering them to adopt sustainable practices that go beyond mere regulatory compliance. Her leadership has been instrumental in fostering a culture of responsibility, transparency, and innovation.

In addition, Joanne has been a lead speaker in conferences across the world to facilitate discussions between Fortune 500 companies on how they can manage their ESG Regulatory obligations. This year, she has spoken at several events across the globe including Amsterdam, Stockholm, Boston, London, Paris, Helsinki, Copenhagen, LA and most recently at the International Symposium of the International Consumer Protection Health and Safety Organisation in Brussels.
