Know Your Supply Chain – Ensuring Global Compliance With Bans On Products Made With Forced Labor

Jul 29, 2024 Know Your Supply Chain – Ensuring Global Compliance With Bans On Products Made With Forced Labor

Webinar Overview

This webinar, presented by Compliance and Risks, will provide critical insights into global regulations related to products made with forced labor.

Regulatory developments mandating supply chain due diligence for companies are becoming increasingly widespread, as most recently seen with the adoption of the CSDDD in Europe. At the same time, we are witnessing a trend towards more trade-based regulations such as the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act that explicitly prohibit the import of goods made with forced labor. The interplay of these two types of regulation makes it necessary for companies to set up a solid supply chain due diligence system that is adaptable to emerging global developments.

The webinar will help you navigate and prepare for compliance in the EU, US, Australian and Canadian markets. Particular attention will be paid to the following regulations:

  • EU Draft on a Ban of Products made with Forced Labor Regulation,
  • US Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA),
  • Pending US state legislation related to forced labor,
  • Canadian Act on Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains,
  • Planned revision of the Australian Modern Slavery Act

Along with all these key updates, we’ll also be showcasing C2P’s ESG Solution.
